Country Fried Potatoes
There are a lot of ways to make country fried potatoes. This is just one of my favorite ways to spice them up if you need a side dinner dish or core breakfast essential.
Ingredients
Cooking
- 3 Potatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp vinegar
Cooking
- Cut potatoes into cubes and throw into a large bowl.
- Add the olive oil and mix until all the potatoes are well covered. Depending on the size of the potatoes, you might need to add more oil.
- Add in the S/P and red pepper flakes. If you want a little more kick use cayenne pepper instead. Mix again.
- Pour the vinegar on last over the top and mix - as you can tell the mixing is important -
- Mix at least one more time. You didn't really give that last mix your all... Did you?
- Spread potatoes into a single layer (as close as possible) on a metal sheet pan and throw them in the oven for 20 minutes at 450 degrees. We split it into two batches for our little countertop toaster oven
- Flip them after 10 minutes and use your spatula to mix them up a bit
- Let them cool and enjoy!
