Morning Shake
This is a quick and easy shake to make and take on the go while getting some super nutrition to start your day! Besides being a breakfast option it also doubles as my post-workout meal. Feel free to experiment with other nutritious items. The chocolate and peanut butter combo does a great job of masking the taste of kale, spirulina or any other health item you decide to add!
Ingredients
Cooking
- 2 frozen bananas
- 2 cup almond/cashew/rice/whatever milk
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
- 3-4 dates
- 1 tbsp spirulina
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tbsp chia seed
- handful of walnuts/pecans
- 1/2 cup of frozen kale/spinach
Cooking
- Add frozen bananas and desired milk alternative to your blender. (Do not add powders, seeds, or peanut butter before milk alternative or they will stick to the bottom)
- Add all other ingredients and blend.
- If your shake is too thick, add more milk and enjoy!
